My wife drove it (Brand New Suzuki) for the first time today and she loves
it as I do. When the time comes for her to trade in her Subaru we may have
another Suzi convert. :-) Either way, she wants to come to Matthews to buy
it, whether Subaru or Suzuki. Thank you very much for all your highly
appreciated and very responsive assistance. We are big Matthews Auto Group
fans, now. I gave Matthews and Jack Conaty high praise in all of the Suzuki
feedback I've given to Suzuki of America.

First I want to commend you for your 'so called' being a pest- you are anything but.... And certainly not obnoxious in any way. You need to keep doing what you are doing because
people like me who ride the fence on researching things to death need people like you to stay on top of things and be in the wings to help. Although we have not communicated in
person I want you to know I am very impressed with you and the Matthews group -especially you Barb with your follow through.

- Hi Barb! Thank you for steering me to Mathews Chevy to take a look at the 2004 Z-71 Avalanche. What a super nice vehicle it is and the people at the dealership were excellent to
deal with. I purchased the Avalanche on 10/19 and can't believe how decently I was treated. This was the easiest and most painless car transaction I have ever had. Tom and Mike seem
like such easy going people that I felt no pressure to buy or trade. I was given a very fair price for my trade-in, and the price for the Avalanche was extremely fair. When I went to pick up
the Avalanche, Mike was very helpful and patient to show me all the loaded extras on this vehicle, and the guy's did a very nice job cleaning it up that it looked brand new ( with 17,000 plus
miles it seems brand new). What a find! Thank you so much for letting me know about this vehicle. This will not be the last time I deal with Matthews Chevy, I have let others know about my
experience there and maybe convinced a few to take a trip to Owego and check it out for themselves. My wife and I will be back when it's time for a new car for her, and I know I'll be back
when it's time to trade the Avalanche in.

- Dear Barb, Last night we picked up our new Subaru ....... Just wanted to tell you what a great experience this has been. We have bought 9 new cars over the years and your whole dealership
it 1st rate. Let me tell you the positive things!!!! 1st with your promptness in returning my e-mail request for having Robert set up a phone call and returning the call at the time that was set....anytime
that I called always a friendly person answering the phone and when I was put on hold someone coming back on the line to update me and tell me Robert would be with me shortly. Scott was very
helpful with the fiance end and answering questions. Robert was excellent...never once were we pressured by "what can I do for you to make you buy this car today" or "what don't you like about
the car that is on the lot". He gave us plenty of time to test drive 2 different vehicles and answered all our questions and gave us the time needed to be sure this was the car for us....Also this was my deal
and my car and I felt he was very comfortable working with me rather than my husband. Please congratulate all your staff. I will recommend your dealership to anyone looking for a car.

- You are certainly a great employee for the dealership and hopefully the owner realizes that and provides you with a huge salary, bonuses and a new Cadillac demonstrator for developing and increasing

- Hello Barb,
I was able to visit the Kia dealership on Tuesday evening and test drive a couple of cars with my daughter. Although we did not buy a car - your salesman Joe Ash did a great job showing us the vehicles
and explaining the features. Joe went out of his way to make my daughter feel comfortable about the cars he was showing and to explain the safety features as well as the various options.
I am continuing my search for the right vehicle for my daughter and will certainly maintain the excellent communication with Joe over the next week to see if anything develops.

- Dear Barb, Let me start by saying how impressed I am with your dealership. Your prompt return of my email and having Robert call me was very impressive. Robert had the cars available for my husband
and me to test drive. I was given instructions on how to safely test drive the cars and then told to take our time and drive both of them....all my questions were answered. I have talked again with Robert and
again he answered my questions about financing.

The test drive was great, and thanks for your assistance! We put a hold on the car ($100 down), and we should know by mid afternoon if we will purchase the van.
I need to have my 97 volks golf looked at for a trade (108,000 miles, new clutch). Another dealer stated they would be able to do $1,000 for it, and if we were able to get that with Matthews that would
work. Thanks for all of your help and I'll speak with you later!

- Thanks for writing Barb. I have worked with Mike Smith since 2002 and have leased my last two Envoys from him. Mike and your business manager, Tammy always treat me very good and help me in
getting the car I want for a good price. They are terrific people!! I just this week have worked out a deal with them for a new lease on another Envoy and should be picking it up in the next few days!!!
I am really excited about it. I will be in this afternoon to fill out some paperwork.

Barb, I very much appreciate your contact with me and don't worry you are
not a pest at all...you definitely do break the mold! At this time, I am

Having been introduced to Matthews through the transition from Van
Atta, I discovered a professionally run, personable business.
Since most of my contact with Matthews has been in the Service area,
I wanted to send some comments about that area of the business. John
and Perry have proven to not only be experts in their field but also
people who take the time to follow through on their statements.
On a service visit a couple of months back, John promised a problem
would be taken care of, and taken care of by a specific time. That
happened like clockwork.
Today, Sept 27, Perry worked to have my 2005 Buick ready following
service on a steering column problem. He was aware that I had an
appointment at a specific time and my car was ready and waiting with
plenty of time to make my other appointment.
Both Perry and John add something special to the Matthews' team.

Dear Mr. Matthews,
In this imperfect world it seems all too true that we hear what is
wrong and what goes right goes unspoken. I'd like to reverse that trend just
a small bit.
Several weeks ago I contacted Mr. Tom Wood and discussed the
possibilities of purchasing not only a new car for my wife but also a new
Silverado since mine is now out of warranty. I felt that Tom was honest,
friendly, up front, and most helpful. He found me a truck and a price I
liked. Then my wife came down and we looked at the new Impala. There were
some things about it that she did not care for. Tom said that he knew of a
bunch of new Buicks up at the dealership on Old Vestal Road. He made
provision for us to meet with Jim Breward who was also most friendly and
helpful. Neither of these fellows was the typical pushy car salesman which
I appreciated. I was really impressed with them all and wanted to
compliment them to you.
So to conclude, my wife picked up her new Buick on Saturday (she is
thrilled as it is the first brand new car she has ever owned) and I pick up
my new Silverado tomorrow. My plan is to keep them 3 years and again trade
and I plan to keep right on doing business with your firm. Not only was the
price right, but the people are right. Thanks for a most enjoyable shopping
experience. It was made possible through the efforts of Tom, Marty, Ed, and
Jim and I do appreciate them all.
